The pen marks on this doodle went really well… Then I had the bright idea if putting watercolour over it, decided it was a mistake and tried to rub it down with toilet tissue… Yeahhh. I kinda like the effect though! And it’s always fun to have a doodle experiment!
I found some awesome holographic paper hidden away when I was having a clear out of boxes. Thought it would make awesome backgrounds for crafters and artists so created a collection that’s now available at Design Bundles https://designbundles.net/michellestillcreates/1354820-32-holographic-stars-photography-backgrounds (on 30% off this month too!) and Creative Fabrica https://www.creativefabrica.com/product/32-holographic-stars-photographs/ref/940640/.
One day my art studio will come, one day… Ahhh still waiting to move house at the moment and all my paints are in storage, so for the foreseeable it will be sorting out my years of photographs and making epic bundles that are for sale for crafters and artists to use and abuse! (ok, maybe not abuse…). This one is rather festive I guess! A massive collection of 100 coloured shiny backgrounds! Available at Design Bundles https://designbundles.net/michellestillcreates/1355014-100-shiny-foil-backgrounds (with 30% off at the moment!) and Creative Fabrica https://www.creativefabrica.com/product/100-shiny-foil-backgrounds/ref/940640/. We all love preparing for Christmas early, so get your digital shine on!
Hands up who ended up feeling like a proper child mixing food colouring and olive oil together for these fun photographs… *holds up hand super high*. Had to give the macro lens a bit of a wipe down after! Much fun had though. This super collection of 50 bubble photographs are on sale now at Design bundles https://designbundles.net/michellestillcreates/1354744-50-oil-bubble-rainbow-photography-backgrounds and Creative Fabrica https://www.creativefabrica.com/product/50-oil-bubble-rainbow-photography/ref/940640/. So go make some awesome crafts and art with them! Love to see what you make!
Ink, scissors, watercolour. Love cutting things up and seeing what happens
The first thing I painted after about 10 years avoiding paints due to rented houses and enjoying pubs too much. It really broke open a part of my brain that I have not been able to lock away since. Cheap acrylic paints on cheap canvas. Look forward to having this up again at some point
Stripy light, dark lines, colourful sea
Still squiggling. Thick and heavy.
Watercolour paints and tasty black ink on watercolour paper. The paper earned its medal this time!
Spring buds on my cherry blossom and fruit trees (scroll for pics) feels later this year for some reason. Maybe I’ve just noticed it more because I’ve been at home a lot the start of this year. The robins are just starting to build their second nest of the year too! Straight back into my greenhouse lean to. I’m not growing anything this year, so let’s hope for a few more flourishing babies. Though robin babies are truly ugly. Truly..
Watercolour paints and ink pen on watercolour paper inspired by the garden
Bit gentler than usual with the ink, but still inspired by all the spring blossoms and buds.
